Manholes have some pretty amazing designs... ever looked down at them? I took some of these designs, and turned them into beautiful functional kitchen artwork, as trivets!

What is a trivet? A trivet is designed to protect your counter tops and table tops from heat. So you can move a hot pot of pasta off the stove or freshly baked cookies from the oven to make room for something else.

SOLID HARDWOOD WALNUT TRIVETS
Crafted from solid walnut, these trivets display the wood's naturally unique and distinctive grain, ensuring each piece is truly individual.

Each one is 7" x 7" x 1/2".

Cleaning is easy – just hand wash using a damp cloth and mild soap. To keep them looking their best and extend their lifespan, we recommend periodically treating them with a food-safe wood conditioner. Just please do not put them in the dishwasher - it's wood!

LIGHTWEIGHT WALNUT VENEERED PLYWOOD TRIVETS
I also offer a lower priced version made from pre-finished lightweight walnut veneered plywood. It has the same dimensions, except the thickness is ~1/4", not a half inch. 

Each one is 7" x 7" x 1/4".

Cleaning can be done by carefully wiping these down with a damp rag. These should not be run under water, and are not dishwasher safe.
